When used as directed, it quickly penetrates the filter pleats, where it remains suspended in the cotton fabric. Saturation is maintained until the element is cleaned with K&N Air Filter Cleaner.

How to Use K&N Air Filter Oil
- Clean the air filter thoroughly using K&N Air Filter Cleaner and allow it to dry completely.
- Apply the oil evenly along the top of each pleat.
- Allow the oil to soak in for about 20 minutes.
- Inspect the filter for any visible white areas and apply additional oil carefully until the entire filter has a uniform red color.
